Femoral Anteversion and Tibial Torsion

Femoral anteversion= if femoral neck and femoral condyle axises are OPPOSITE directions (one externally rotated, the other internally rotated), then ADD angle measurements.

Femoral retroversion = a femoral neck and femoral condyle axises or SAME direction (both externally rotated or both internally rotated), then = distal angle minus proximal angle.

Tibial torsion = if distal tibia and proximal tibia axises are OPPOSITE directions (one externally rotated, the other internally rotated), then ADD angle measurements.

Tibial torsion = a distal tibia and proximal tibia axises or SAME direction (both externally rotated or both internally rotated), then = distal angle minus proximal ankle.
