CORE Exam
Overview
First year = Follow the reading requirements and Rad Primer questions per rotation.
Second year = Do AIRP, try to read through CORE Review book based on your rotation. Finish Cleveland clinic modules for peds. Try to start your study guide, notes, flash cards... Otherwise work work work.
Third year study block
Read through ACR non-interpretive skills (NIS) study guide and take notes/highlight. This will make it faster to review before the test (1 day).
Crack the Core + Rad Primer questions (6-8 weeks)
Read one section of the book, then do those section questions in the Q-bank. Flag anything you want to see again. Rad Primer won't keep track of missed questions otherwise.
Consider starting with physics and NIS since those are the largest section of the test and will require multiple re-reads.
Take notes in some way: Study guide, flash cards, pictures...
Look up pictures of things that don't have a picture so you know.
Optional: Flip through CORE Review if you didn't look through it before
Go through Core Review Series (this is a set of books/PDFs with cases for each section) (2-4 weeks)
Review physics, NIS and personal study guides (1 week)
Board Vitals questions (1 weeks)
Review physics, NIS and personals study guides AGAIN (1 week)
